Zen Temple Altars

These Altars are inspired by the traditional Ainu and Shinto peoples living in the mountains of Japan. Their deep spiritual relationship and reverence for wood is legendary. Temple Altars are traditionally used for personal and universal offerings for peace, harmony, and contemplation in both homes and temples. Each altar is a unique individual piece created and imbued with the spirit of the tree and the land of its origin. A legend is sent with each signed piece.

All pieces are finished with teak oils and aroma therapeutic beeswax polish created in the the studio.
