   Ellis BradleyMore than 40 years working in wood, stone, and paint still leaves much to be learned and much to be done. Enduring relationships within nature and with original indigenous peoples has imbued an understanding of the natural world as microcosm, in right relationship to the world of spirit as macrocosm. As above, so below... These themes reflect clearly within my artwork and my spirit. As a result, this has been cultivated within into an ethical way of living in harmony with the earth and cosmos that is at peace with creation... Related to both earth and cosmos. The woods available for the zen altars, coffee tables and sculptures are carefully selected to offer the most unique woods available to the trained eye of a sculptor. Defined by iridescent grains, burls, birdseye, quilt and flame to name some of the characteristics ascribed to these unique singular boards. The finish for each piece is in teak oils and aroma therapeutic beeswax polish created in the studio. |
